She smiles and touches the wire. The DAMON sat up and growled. ROCCO Whoa! It's alive! DANA separates the wires and the DAMON slumped to its inactive state once more. MR. HART That is very impressive young lady. MR HART and MR POTTAR are also alarmed by the sudden activation of the DAMON. MR. HART (Cont'd) Do you think you can get him running again? ROCCO Whoa. Why would we want that thing "running again"? He kicked our ass. MR. HART The connection between the cybernetic portal and the ZETA occupying it has been severed. Right now, it is just a shell. If you can get it "running", it will come to life. ROCCO As a what? MR. HART An empty shell, my boy. An empty shell that you can fill. ROCCO I think you're losing it, Old Man. The DAMON growls again. This time, it stands erect and then growls even louder. DANA is ecstatic. DANA This is so cool. I wanna call him something cute. I wanna call him... Chewy or something. ROCCO His name is Damon. We're not calling him Chewy! STARRY Hey, Roc. There's nothing more to shoot over th-- what the hell? DANA Check it out, Star. (To Damon) Damon? Speak. The DAMON growls and DANA is ecstatic again. STARRY (to Rocco) What the hell? ROCCO Just put it on the list of all the things I gotta explain to you. MR POTTAR (OS) Buckle up, everyone! The kids look at the window simultaneously. DANA What-- ROCCO --the--- STARRY --Hell? A view of the Zeta mothership suddenly occupied the view of every window in the ship. The DAMON growls.
