...rubs the stallions neck. "Hey big guy!" she laughs and unlocks the door, snapping a lead on his halter and leading him out. Next, she puts him in cross ties, and begins her work with a strong mind and ready hands. She brushes out his coat, and then shakes her head. "You need more."She takes him from the cross ties, and leads him to the "bath-house where she ties him and begins hosing him down. With a horse sponge she begins soaping his coat and then rinses it again. She puts a cooling blanket on him after drying him most of the way with a towel. Then, when hes nearly dry, she leads him to cross ties and brushes his coat out twice. Next, she undoes his braids, and his mane falls in riplling waves. Smiling, she unwinds his tail and brushes it out, the long banner falling nearly to the ground. "hmmm..." she pauses a moment and then nods, grabbing the hoof pick. She begins cleaning his hooves and when she's done with that she polishes them. Finally, she sprays some coat shine on him and some horse-safe fly repellent around vulnerable areas like his muzzle and neck. Now, satisfied with her work, she grabs some tack. She puts saddle blanket on his back and then lies the western saddle on his back. She tightens the girth, and tests it, then lengthens the stirrups. She eases the bit into his mouth and straps the reins where she should. Testing the equipment, she smiles. Next, she wraps his legs and grabs her cowboy hat. Smiling, she leads him out of the barn and mounts up. Laughing, she grabs the reins and nudges the stallion with her legs."Now lets see if you can ride western, huh?" she laughs...
