Hi.. I have been thinking off and on about this question. I have a blended "look" that combines eras and also combines places. It is a combination of chabby chic, (big floppy cottage roses, white-washed wood, crochet edge doilies or hankies, and teacups) primitive, (crocks and slaw cutters. big huge willow baskets, and old dough bowls)and then voila! Throw in a touch of glitz.. just a touch of maybe Bangladesh sequins on an apple ornament or an amber crystal pinecone glittering in the middle of a dough bowl full of seed pods... or a scarf with long slinky fringe draped in with a couple shabby pieces of chintz. I am not sure I am explaining this very well. Trust me, it isn't as gaudy as it sounds... just kind of unexpected. It makes me crazy sometimes how I first want open space, clear of clutter and then turn around and want all kinds of little knick knacks grouped together in a vignette.... Space and ordered chaos... kind of like a tinker's convention at the Grand Canyon? haha..

It's Sunday, and I have to get ready for a little Super Bowl thing I'm having. My house needed a little top to bottom, but I'm going to do the Timer 15 minute room rescue thing and then get ready and then make some taco haystacks.
Rah Rah... We girls MAY just be using this as an excuse to get together and EAT and gossip...

Take care, everyone...
