After discovering a) that I had a pretty restrictive frenulum breve, and b) doing all the research I could into how to "cure" it, I eventually decided that I was going to try the tying technique myself.

The other options were pretty scary. Given the choice between having a surgeon with a scalpal hacking away at my exposed fleshy bits, and trying the tying, I decided that the tying was a much better option.

So some needle, thread, a lot of antisepctic and antibacterial soap (for good measure), and some courage, I gave it a shot... and the needle went through pretty easily, without any pain, and with absolutely no bleeding at all. Huzzah.

My question now is... when this finally "snaps", does it bleed at that point, or is pretty much going to be a "clean break"?

Also, how tight does the thread need to be? I tied it as tight as I could without it cutting into the skin, so the area inside the knot is now pretty pale from the pressure. Is that okay?

Thanks!
