Subject: Re: Tying BELOW Frenular Artery/Vein
In reply to: SweeneyTodd 's message, "Re: Tying BELOW Frenular Artery/Vein" on 01:42:17 01/04/10 Mon

Thanks for your reply, I'll check out that forum you linked to.

I've already done a couple of tyings and I did get the white tissue you mention on those occassions (which, by the way, just fell off after a while). But what I have now isn't like that, I think it's a small scar.

I have decided to refrain from doing another tying and to wait and see how it looks in a few weeks. I've been applying honey to the scar for the past few days and I think it may be helping. I'm also gently stretching and pinching the wound to encourage some blood flow.

I think the reason I was left with this little wound is that I went too deep (my third tying) and so there just wasn't enough frenulum left (or the skin was too thin) to accommodate even the minor damage/dent cause by the knot. I'd already done two tyings which went really well; which I think was because these were obviously higher up on the frenulum, so A) there was a bit more tension which helped the knot pull through better, and B) there was enough skin under it to make-up for the little 'dent' made by the head of the knot, if that makes sense.

I propose that while this tying method is great for lengthening the frenulum a good amount in a short space of time, care should be taken not to go too deep! Perhaps better to make 'Final adjustments' (!)using the stretching method.
