I did mine about a week ago. No problems at all. I planned to take pictures but once I started I became understandably a litle stressed and also needed to keep everything sterile. It became to complicated to pick up the camera at every step.

There was no need to worry though because everything was a piece of cake. I only used ice for about 30-40secs to numb the area and it really was painless. I used a normal sewing needle and 4lb fishing line soaked in isopropyl alcohol. Kept the area covered in lanolin cream for about 8 days.

It took longer than expected because after it cut through about 3/4 of the skin the knot/stitch became too loose and I had to cut it off and replace it with a new loop to finish the last bit. Also, like Harmen and others here who have done it I will need another stitch to take it bit further.

I put the stitch closer to the head and stayed away from the large vein. I don't think it is a good idea to cut that in half. There was no blood at all doing it this way. ALso, there is no loss of sensitivity to the remaining frenulum so no worries there.

I hope this helps.
