Hi there!

I received an employment offer letter from a library in the states.
It does have starting date but do not have an end date.
I read some posting on the Internet and it looks like I have to have both in the letter to get the TN status?

Should I contact my employer to revise the letter?

Thanks

Yes, for a TN-1-acceptable letter, it must have the following elements:

1) the position must clearly state that a MLS is required for the job
2) state clearly that the position is a professional librarian
3) the term of employment is one-year less a day (eg. September 1, 2007 to August 31, 2008)

If your letter doesn't have the dates, get them to revise it.
