GREETINGS ONE AND ALL!
For those of you who don't already know me, my name is Kim Connelly and I am the new Indiana director for NES.
I just wanted to keep you up-to-date on the upcoming NES Indiana State Pageant.
Right now I am offering an ULTIMATE PACKAGE price of $250.00 for any contestant that pays their pageant fees in full by August 1, 2009. This price will increase to $300 after that until August 7th, and then after that it will be $350.00 until August 14th! Any funds received after August 14th - 22nd will NOT receive any discounts and will have to pay the full price that is listed on the application. So be sure not to miss out on this special deal, which is includes EVERYTHING except your room for $250.00. It includes Beauty, Casual/Runway, Swim/Fitness, Photogenic, Overall Most Beautiful, Talent, and all 4 side awards (Best Hair, Best Eyes, Best Smile & Best Personality), 1 parent admission pass, and the Registration Fee. Considering you will get a minimum of $100.00 credit up to all of your package price discounted off of your Nationals Fees, I'd say this is quite a deal!
I hope you will not want to miss this spectacular event. We need you to make it a success! The sashes and crowns are beautiful and will make a great addition to any awards case!
Just a reminder...NES (Naturally Elegant & Simple) is a natural pageant, so all H/M must be minimal and age appropriate or points will be deducted from your score. NES does not allow big hair, falls, wiglets or hairpieces. Hair must be natural looking, but nice and dressy. No fake eyelashes and no flippers; although they do allow tanning and nail tips, but that's it! There is no score for attire, and any kind of dress is acceptable. You may wear a full glitz dress or a dress from right off the rack, but you will not be judged on your attire. Just make sure your dress fits well and it is a good color for you.
The pageant will be here before you know it, but there is still plenty of time to get in your entries. The age divisions are as follows: Baby 0-23 mos, Wee 2-3, Teeny 4-5, Tiny 6-7, Little 8-9, Young 10-11, Junior 12-13,
Jr. Teen 14-15, Teen 16-19, Miss 20&up, Boys 0-3, Boys 4-7, and Boys 8-13. Many of you have expressed an interest in competing, but I still haven't received your deposits yet! So please get those in before the deadline.
Any contestant doing talent needs to let me know what your requirements are as far as dance floor, stage, microphone, etc. All talent routines will be limited to 3 Minutes!
Don't forget about our referral program. The contestant with the most referrals will be awarded the title of Host/Hostess, and will win a beautiful crown, satin embroidered sash, a wonderful prize and $150 off NES Nastionals. Please keep in mind...in order to get credit for this, the contestant must put your name under the referred by section of the application.
Remember to reserve your room as soon as possible to receive the NES group rate of $99-$109/night. These rooms are absolutely beautiful. They are at the Courtyard by Marriott in Merrillville, Indiana. Most contestants are staying Saturday night, so they don't have to make the drive back the next day for the beauty portion and crowning. It's entirely up to you and whatever you decide to do. I plan to attend Nationals with all of my Indiana winners. NES is a very affordable National pageant and paperwork to attend will be available during pageant weekend. Over $30,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded. This is definitely something you don't want to miss! I know the Indiana State Pageant will be a huge success, and I am really looking forward to meeting everyone on pageant weekend. Let's bring home that National Title and make NES proud!
Just like all the other wonderful directors of NES Pageants, I plan to be a very involved director. I feel that if you take the time to work hard, your pageant will definitely be a success. I have a lot of special events planned throughout the year for my reigning royalty. I want them to feel special and be proud of their titles! So come and join the NES family.
