Subject: Down the stretch

Yes, it is sad that this is a dead board. I am a recent graduate and have always been appalled at the apathy.

However, judging from the overflow crowds at Alumni Gym and a re-energized student body, it looks like Rider basketball is finally being talked about.

Now to business: The Broncs come off a disappointing two-game stretch and now have to face an revived Loyola team on the road. Loyola is hungry to get back at Rider, who fought out a tough win over the Greyhounds back in January.

The Loyola game is huge for Rider, because it sets the tone for the final weekend at Alumni Gym (with a long trip to Cal-State Northridge sandwiched in). A Rider win over Loyola, would be a knock out punch, because Rider would then have the tiebreaker over them and Niagara and would have to focus on Siena.
