She rubs his face "Good boy!" She goes to work with the cury comb, then the dandy brush. Once his mane and tail are knotless and his feet are picked, the basic grooming is done. Now she takes out the cliper. She shaves off the feathers on his legs and the wiskers off his face. He stands still when she unhooks the cross ties and leads him into a wash stall. She gives him a warm bath then scraps the remainding water off his back and puts on a light sheet so he won't catch a chill. She brings him to his stall and takes off his halter. At first, as she walks away Will looks shocked to see her go so fast, but she returns with a scoop of grain mix she made. As he munches of his feed she enters his stall and starts to braid small sections of his mane, then rolls them up and pins them.
