Brad Pitt and Margo Robbie star in this film, which is a love/hate homage to Hollywood's film history. It starts in the silent days, then jumps thru the decades to the 40s. The story is told from the pov of a young Mexican man who loves movies, and acts as observer to the changes. Reminds me of Bad Lurhman's The Great Gatsby - wild, colorful, loud and ultimately tragic.
