sure they will lose a lot of the older viewers who are not adjusting to the streaming world. I couldn't imagine my mom trying to figure that out.

giving lots of Salem denizens a chance to "do their worst" behavior.
I never thought about it, but you're right about the streaming service not being senior friendly, necessarily. We watch DOOL on Peacock for a couple years now, because the commercials are MUCH less and we don't have to record. Subscribers to Peacock+ can access old episodes going way back.

viewers to the remaining network soaps. I was reading the comments on sites like DC and TVLine and so many are angry and swearing off the show because of this. There are people on fixed incomes that don't want to pay for a show they had been watching for free for decades.

with the idea that DOOL viewers will have to have a pay premium channel. I happen to get it through my ludicrously expensive cable so i would be fine but if GH should decide to do the same some day that would be it for me as I don't have anything other than Prime and Peacock.

I felt the same way when the Premier League games were largely removed from cable onto Peacock (again thankfully I have it "free"so I can still watch).

I would have to give it up if it went to Disney+ and I had to pay. I also have an expensive cable package, mainly keeping it for live sports. It gives me free access to some streamers like HBOMax. I also have Prime. Ah, a Premier League fan! I got into Serie A, the Italian soccer league, while on lockdown and no other sports were on. Now, they don't show it on the cable channels anymore! I can get Bundesliga here and there. I also like La Liga, but they are much harder to find now too.
