I'd say eps 8-10 made up for the slow blah-ness of 1-7. Characters came to power, came of age, and had their resolve set. The "dance of dragons" fight was very well done, like a Star Wars, almost. Too bad we had to lose a little dragon and a brave boy. Season 2 should be great.

it often being hard to see because of dark scenes. I had the same trouble with GOT at times.
