Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

wanted a light comedy for Xmas night after eating all day. We saw Minions: The Rise of Gru, which was cute and silly. Those little yellow blobs always make me laugh. The voice actors including Steve Carell, Julie Andrews, Michelle Yeoh, Taraji P. Henson, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Russell Brand and Alan Arkin were all great.

Glass Onion, Knives out. An all-star cast of crazy characters could not save the horribly messy script. So confusing we didn't even finish watching it. Daniel Craig's southern accent was SO annoying, he sounded like Colonel Sanders.

Nathalie Emmanuel (Misandi in GOT) stars as a woman who finds a big family of relatives thru a DNA test. They invite her to a wedding, which turns out to be HER wedding to the vampire lord of their vampire clan. A frantic escape ensues! So bad it was hysterical.

Craig's bad accent was very present in the first Knives Out movie too. It felt like it was intentionally bad it was so bad! But I liked that film, so I will probably try to see Glass Onion.
