Subject: I saw an interesting, movie this last weekend,

Emancipation, starring Will Smith. I wish I hadn't read the poor reviews of this one before I watched it, because that caused me to look for the negative. The film is based on a true story of two enslaved men, who escape their captors, join the Union Army, and then return to save their family members. A famous photo was taken of Peter's back, showing the scars of whippings. It was interesting, but seemed rather rushed.
