Based on a book about a 70s era rock group. Very cool, great music. We watched Succession as well. Still have no idea what's happening, they never seem to actually CLOSE a deal, lol. Also started watching a new PBS series, Marie Antoinette, a very hip, feminist, mean-girls-worthy version of the queen's story.
All the new movies on streaming are $20 to rent - forget about it!

My sister and I rented Till and Top Gun Maverick.

Till was gut wrenching but very good. Danielle Deadwyler was amazing as Mamie Till-Mobley. I felt every single emotion. Horrifying to think that something like that happened not so very long ago.

TGM was quite entertaining and if you enjoyed Top Gun you would definitely enjoy this sequel. A lot of nods to the past without wallowing in it. miles Teller was a really good pick to play Goose’s son. He has the look of Anthony Edwards.

And you're right, it is chilling to think this all happened in my own lifetime.
