Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I was out

of town for a few days so I came back to a few things on the DVR to catch up on. I finished the British mini series Landscapers. It was a semi-documentary about a couple who murdered the wife's parents, though the actual shooter between the two is still uncertain. They were both convicted and still maintain their innocence, though they are clearly guilty. The stars, Olivia Colman and David Thewlis, are so fantastically weird in this series. We also watched a lot of college bowl games.

Stars Dev Patel and Alicia Vikander in a very mystical and surreal retelling of the 13th c Arthurian tale. Arthur's nephew, Gawain, son of Arthur's sister Morgan le Fe, sets out to fulfill an oath to the murderous Green Knight, whom Gawain beheaded. Like most of the King Arthur epic poem stories, it's pretty wacky. It was fun to watch. Also had the finale of Yellowstone, and continue with 1883.

The Arthurian tale told from the pov of the women. From a novel by sci-fi writer Marion Zimmer Bradley. Really good.

focused on Morgan and Arthur's relationship in a sort of mystical and sexy way, but I can't remember which one that was.
