OK so maybe not all on the past weekend :)

Ted Lasso S2 (Apple+) is really good. Mostly avoids the sophomore slump though episode 8 is a disaster and one character's arc comes out of nowhere for me.

The Tender Bar (Amazon Prime) George Clooney directed. Stars Ben Affleck, Lily Rabe, Christopher Lloyd, Tye Sheridan and the awesome Daniel Ranieri who plays young J.R. Based on a memoir it is a coming of age story and IMO a snooze. Essentially little kid moves with single mom into his grandparents home. Spends time with his uncle Charlie and eventually comes to terms with the fact that his dad is a deadbeat a$$.

The Unforgivable (Netflix) Stars Sandra Bullock, Viola Davis. Really intense and a total departure from anything I have ever seen SB do. She plays Ruth who at the start of the movie is being released from prison after serving 20 years for murdering a cop. It is the story of her attempts at reentry and also her attempt to find her little sister. There are flashbacks to the incident which lead to her conviction and you see how the crime has effected a lot of different people. It gets really intense near the end. I would recommend it just to see SB in a new way and of course I would watch anything with Viola Davis in it even though her part is small.

Amazing what you can watch if you hang out with someone who has a ton of streaming services.
