Subject: I saw two good movies over this weekend.

In the theater, Where the Crawdads Sing, based on the best-selling book. The story is essentially a murder mystery/courtroom drama, but the best part is the scenery, love story and book art by Kya, a young naturalist.
On Netflix now is Persuasion, based on Jane Austen's book, starring Dakota Johnson as Anne Ellliott. I loved this funny, quirky take on the novel.

It is definitely getting a huge publicity push. Not much of one to go the theater (even before Covid) so not sure when I will see it.

I heard that the new Top Gun really brought in an older crowd, and the trend is continuing. I also want to see Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, lol.
