Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? We finally saw

Ford vs. Ferrari. It was great. My other half is a car enthusiast so he loved it. I love hot little race cars and I do occasionally watch some racing (mostly Indy and Formula One.) The cars, the racing and the great performances by Matt Damon and Christian Bale were excellent. Bale can do no wrong in his roles as far as I'm concerned. Nice to see Jon Bernthal (hello, Shane) and Caitriona Balfe (hello, Sassenach) too. My other half wants to watch it again LOL!

I absolutely loved it. If you're a big Jane Austen fan, you'll love the lively dialogue and humor that was the author's intention. Bill Nighey is so good as Emma's hypochondriac father.
We also watched The Best of Enemies with Sam Rockwell and Taraji P. Henson. True story of people coming together in 1971 deep south to integrate a high school. Really well done and acted.
