Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

watched some of my list of annual must-see Xmas movies like Elf. I did get ticket to see the Star Wars movie on Dec. 26. I wanted to go Xmas day, but they were sold out at the closest theaters. I'll be watching my beloved Love, Actually on Xmas night instead.

Star Wars looks good, Cats not so much - what a disastrous opening they had. I've never heard of the studio sending a revised version to the theaters after a bad opening. I'm not sure the optics were the problem? Bombshell didn't do well either, but I feel like the HBO version already covered the issue and I don't need to see it, too bad cause I love Charlize.

lauded for its horribleness. I love the actresses in Bombshell, but I don't think there's a lot of sympathy for the real-life women who were never exactly champions for women's rights or human rights at all. What happened to them in the workplace was absolutely criminal though.
I'm a Star Wars nerd so that had to take priority before I get any spoilers. But I also want to see Knives Out and a couple of others.
