Subject: Grey's Anatomy casting news (a shocker to me)

So apparently Justin Chambers (Alex Kurev) is no longer on the show. I saw a post announcing he was leaving this season and then a follow up from TVLine that he is actually already gone. The explanation in November that he had gone home to care for his mother was all we got. No send off. Sounds like there is a story behind all this but all I care about is that Alex is gone. So will Jo go too? Or will she stay because he will allegedly eventually come home. Will he live in off screen Seattle like April and her husband?

I am really bummed because I love Kurev.

have him live in off-screen Seattle, but it is disappointing. It's hard losing one of the originals.
