Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

didn't see any movies. I had a lot on the DVR to catch up on and did birthday stuff all weekend--too much food and drink. I need to go on a diet!

It was pretty funny, kinda silly but fun to watch. Daniel Craig was horribly mis-cast as a southern detective but i think that was by design!
Also rented Midway, the latest WWII movie. It was ok, but way too much fighting scenes, too little background or human interest. True stories of real heroes should be better fleshed out.

We did not enjoy it. I agree it is silly and I think it definitely was meant to be a send up of classic Christie type murder mysteries but it missed the mark for us. The last 15 minutes were quite good but the rest? Meh. Great cast though Daniel Craig was not the right person for the southern fried detective.
I had really wanted to see it and heard such goos things about it so I was disappointed.
