So, for the final episode... -- skw123, 09:46:59 05/13/19 Mon [1]
Do you think it's safe to assume that all the characters will live to see the "new Kingdom of Westeros"? I'm thinking maybe Dany and Drogon fly off somewhere else, maybe back to Vaes Dothrak or Mureen, after she forgives Tyrion for lying to her.. or kills him lol.

At this point, maybe they all die! -- LAwoman, 12:47:45 05/13/19 Mon [1]
Dany is determined to rule (at the expense of everyone.) But those who were previously loyal to her may turn on her after what she did. She also may have made a bit of an error in making Gendry a legit Baratheon. If he cared, which I don't think he does, he would have a claim to the throne as well. No one wants it except Dany. And she's bonkers. So they would be basically right back where they started with Cersei, just a different murderous loon on the throne. I'm concerned about where that leaves The North. They want independence. My preference is Sansa rules the North and Tyrion gets whatever is left of Kings Landing, but I never get what I want.

Best parts of the episode -- AllyG, 13:26:41 05/13/19 Mon [1]
Tyrion and Jamie's goodbye, Arya and Sandor's goodbye (telling that she called him by his name) and Qyburn get whacked. Did Cersei and Qyburn really think they could control Ser Gregor, seriously????
The rest of it was kind of not interesting to me. Mad Queen Dany would be OK if it had not happened in the course of an episode. This felt rushed and ridiculous.
I felt badly for Tyrion because he tried so hard to save the people and then Dany went BSC and it was all for nothing.
Can someone please tell me what the point of Euron was? He is a bigger character in the books but in the show he seemed a waste of time to me. And how come it was so easy for him to kill a dragon last week but this week Dany could attack an entire fleet with one dragon and win?
Cersei and Jamie died as they should together in their own little world. I did not feel sorry for cersei as her choices are what got her there but I did feel a bit sad for what Jamie could have been if he just did not have that obsession with his sister.
Definitely think Arya will add Dany to her list and she does have some green eyes to shut forever according to Melisandre.
Vays knew he was in a dangerous position and I think he was resigned to one day dying due to his intrigues. A shame he did not manage to poison Dany through the little kitchen girl. Would have saved a whole bunch of innocent people in KL.
Tyrion and Jon are going to have to see Dany for all that she is not just the good stuff they thought about her and then decide what to do.
I have to say I have been largely disappointed by this season. i think they are going at breakneck speed and sacrificing a lot of the nuances so my guess is that I am likely to be disappointed by the ending as well.

I wish they had been able to do a couple more episodes this season to not feel so rushed, but then 1/2 the fans -- LAwoman, 13:52:04 05/13/19 Mon [1]
would then complain about it being too slow or talky. Can't please everyone. Dany's descent into BSC was pretty much telegraphed early on, based on her lineage and her character. She was benevolent when she was being worshipped. Freeing slaves will do that. But she was always impulsive, often childish, and frequently cruel. If she didn't have dragons, what would be her strength? Jon is a Targaryen and can ride dragons too. Maybe he'll take Drogon away from her. I agree about Jaime having the potential for redemption, but so did Theon and he's dead too. Valar morghulis!
