Subject: GOT: I finally got a chance to read the EW.com recap (always the best) and it put a lot

in perspective about the events of this past Sunday's episode in the overall scheme of the story with foreshadowing events I had sort of forgotten about. Here it is

The interaction between Dany and Jon before the battle is not mentioned. She wants him to love her, tells him she loves him, but he is rejects her physically. He will only offer his loyalty to her as his queen. To me, that was the final hurt that pushed her over the edge. "Hell hath no fury, like a woman scorned." How things might have gone differently if they had made love.

rule in any way, even if they had been intimate again, she would toast him. That's her go-to move. She loves him, but he will always be a potential threat. Even though he REALLY doesn't want the throne, he's got a claim to it and that will never sit well with her. And if somehow she loses that last dragon, she will have nothing to scare people into submission with. I'm a bit worried about Tyrion. If she finds out that he was going to smuggle Cersei and Jaime out, he'll get cooked too.

is toast if he doesn't get outta Dodge by sundown.
