Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

was going to go to a movie, but my mom was admitted to the hospital. She should be getting out Monday, but that altered my weekend plans considerably.

Sorry to hear about your mom's hospitalization. Hope she'll be ok.
We saw Echo in the Canyon, and like it very much! Bob Dylan's son Jakob hosts a musical history of the musicians who lived in Laurel Canyon in 1966-67, collaborating on writing and performing as neighbors. Jakob and singers such as Fiona Apple perform some 60s classics.
We also watched Vice on Hulu, the story of Dick Cheney, told from a pov that casts him and his power-grab in a totally negative light. Deservedly so. Terrible person. The movie itself is really cool, kind of pop art modernist style.
