Subject: Did anyone watch season 2 of Big Little Lies? Sorry if you already talked about it.

I was away a lot this summer so I just let it record and finally watched it over a couple of nights. It was OK but the first season was so much better and really for me they did not need to do a season 2. I read the book so as far as what happened next I had some answers there. And as far as the show went I was Ok with leaving up to us to decide what happened.

Just wondering what anyone else thought.

Though I love Meryl Streep her character was not very likeable and in some serious denial about her own parenting skills (assuming Perry was telling the truth of course).

of the shows I would look forward to all week, but I agree, the first season was exceptional, while the second season was just a bit below that. Meryl was so good at playing a horrible person! I kept wanting someone to throw her down some stairs! I also agree that I don't need the ending to be too clear cut or tied up in a bow. I like a little ambiguity. I did like that Bonnie finally got some story.

true to the book where we learn about her background with abuse and that it is mainly that which triggered her response to Perry. She definitely was a more fleshed out character in the book than season one so I am glad that got put in.

Meryl would be awesome reading the phone book lol. And the combination of mousy and MEAN. Was excellent :)
