Subject: I started watching The Crown and The Bucaneers.

I've been a fan of the Crown since it started, loving the attention to detail and keeping in mind that some is based on fact, some is fiction. Elizabeth Dibecki is spot on as the vulnerable Diana, whose death and aftermath will wrap the series.
The Bucaneers is based on Edith Wharton's novel, about American girls marrying into British aristocracy in the 1870s. It was horrible, like a frantic version of Gossip Girl.
I plan to see Napoleon this week.

called Deadloch. I was looking for something I could listen to and still get (working on a baby blanket which takes my attention). Anyway it is set in Tasmania and a murder mystery so I thought why not? Not even sure how to describe it. The F and C words a re used constantly which is off putting for me but somehow I got sucked in. There is a serial killer in the town and so far I think 11 bodies have been found. The two female detectives are about to be replaced for not getting the job done (and for being female men v women definitely a theme). I think I have two episodes left. Needless to say the knitting is not really getting done because I have to pay attention to try to understand all the undercurrents lol.

It is described as a murder mystery black comedy which explains a lot.

made me want to go to Tasmania (not for the murdering, but because it looked so pretty)
