I am so out of touch lol. I haven't seen many of the nominated shows and haven't heard of many of them either. I did like Daisy Jones and the Six so I'm rooting for them.

back in the day, tv was totally democratic, everyone could see all of the few shows that existed. Now, there's too many ppv platforms, limiting our choices. I'd like to see Loki and What We Do in the Shadows, and Only Murders... but I already pay for so many.

complain that cable had too many channels they didn't watch and wanted something more a la carte. Well, that's what we have. The best you can do is pay for a month or take advantage of a trial offer then cancel, but it gets ridiculous. I almost forgot to cancel the Hulu trial. If I didn't cancel in time, they automatically charge you the next month at full price. It's kind of scammy in a way. You really have to stay on top of it.

I also just get frustrated with the streaming. When I do go on the two I have I can never find something to watch without wading through a bunch of nonsense.

I also find I spend less and less time watching shows. I start something and then don't go back and finish it. I still have 5 episodes of the final season of Maisel and I love that show. I think I am too old for this sh!t to quote Lethal Weapon.

cheap for this sh!t! I do take advantage of deals though. But they are too short to get all the shows I want before they expire!
