Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

didn't see any movies, though I have a few on my list to see. But I did finish the limited series Daisy Jones and the Six. It was great and the last episode had me in tears. Riley Keough so resembles her mom, Priscilla and Elvis at various times. The series was based very loosely on Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks said she loved it.

FIrst, I'm glad you saw Daisy Jones. I loved that series.
We saw Maestro starring Bradley Cooper and Carrie Mulligan. This movie was not at all what I thought it would be. It was about Leonard Bernstein's personal life as a bisexual man. It felt intrusive and boring. Too many loud people, and when the story turned to his wife's breast cancer, I turned it off. I still can't deal with that. There was only one actual music scene.
The other movie I saw was good but I totally forgot what it was, LOL.
Also, yay for the Bills!

I had read that it was about his personal life but it sounds like I wouldn't be interested. How could there only be ONE music scene?

And absolutely YAYA BILLS!

Adore, from 2013, stars Naomi Watts and Robyn Wright, as two lifelong friends who each begins a steamy love affair with each other's teenage sons. Trouble ensues. It was really well written and acted, beautiful scenery on the Australian coast.
