Subject: We saw Blake Lively's movie It Ends With Us over the weekend.

I liked it, tho it was very intense to watch. Blake's character is the daughter of an abusive man, who marries an abusive man. Supporting characters are very good, and the ending is a good one.
Also, the Yellowstone sage ended Sunday, no surprises there. Finally gave us a start date for following up S-1 of 1923, the Yellowstone origin story with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.

Very good! A 2 person movie, all taking place in a cab.

[> Didn't post before but I saw Wicked on Black Friday -- AllyG, 12:35:48 12/16/24 Mon [1]

and I have to say now I can't remember if I saw the musical or not lol. I KNOW I read the book years ago and I *think* I saw the musical but clearly did not remember the music. Anyway, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Cynthia Erivo is fabulous. Ariana Grande was very good too. G(a)linda is such a shallow bubblehead in part 1 that it is difficult to like her<. Ariana is very good at portraying that.

It is very annoying that it is two parts but definitely ended on a good cliffhanger. Michelle Yeoh was good though clearly not a singer. Can't make up my mind on Jeff Goldblum.

There’s also a new Nosferatu movie coming out on Xmas Day, of all days, lol. I must see that one. I heard another superhero movie flopped. Maybe we can see the end of that genre for awhile.

I went with her to a lot! I grew to love most of them.

Sound of Music, Oliver, Camelot, Fiddler, etc, but by the 90s, all the singing became screaming, and I can't sit thru them. Rent was the first musical I absolutely hated, starring Neil Patrick Harris, ugh! But I love opera. They sing.

we saw at the Pantages years ago was just awful! Horrible sound, bad seats, ambient noise from toilets and way overcrowded. I'll never go there again. But I loved the movie and all the music.

No one else could do that road for me, not even Zero Mostel.
