I feel like that is where the best writing is these days. Of course, episodic shows on "regular" channels have much more limited episodes than they used to. I'm watching The West Wing now, and there's like 22 episodes per year. wow.

quality is diluted. I hardly watch any network shows anymore. It may not be the old norm of 22 episodes anymore, but it's still too many LOL!
