Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I saw

The Brutalist. All 3 1/2 hours of it. There was no way I was going to see that in the theater, where it has a 15 minute intermission. So that's four + hours including previews. I streamed it so I could schedule my own intermissions LOL!
It's a long one, but very good. All the actors nominated for Academy Awards would deserve them. Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce are all amazing. The period piece about a post-war refugee Jewish Hungarian architect who arrives in the U.S. and his difficult experiences including addiction and trying to get his wife and niece to America. Guy Pearce plays a wealthy client.
