on AppleTv+. It's based on historical events in the unification of the Hawaiian islands under King Kamehameha. 9 episodes. Jason spent 10 years trying to get this made, and its been well-reviewed. Lots of action, scenery. My only beef is that the dialog is in Native Hawaiian, so I have to be glued to the screen every second to read the sub-titles. But kudos to him. Hey, I didn't speak Dothraki either, lol.

to the screen sometimes if the whole show or film is subtitled, but I get used to it. It is usually worth it. We watched a PBS mini-series documentary, Renaissance: The Blood and the Beauty. It was really good and Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister) played Michelangelo.

I hope PBS survives the current political climate.
