Subject: Saw a movie on Netflix over the weekend.

My Oxford Year, starring Sofia Carson and Cory Mylchreest, is a romcom with a fish our of water theme. She goes to spend a year post college at Oxford, studying Victorian poetry, which he's teaching. I thought it would be cute and have lots of great scenery. Turns out he has a terminal illness, so it slogged toward a maudlin and predictable teary end.So over-acted. Blah.
