Subject: I have been out a lot and haven't had the chance to acknowledge the loss of some amazing talents. As this started as a soap site, I

must start with the loss of Anthony Geary. He passed at 78 after complications from surgery in Amsterdam. The Luke and Laura saga, along with the accompanying adventures changed daytime dramas.
I know the news of the murders of Rob Reiner and Michelle Singer Reiner have been all over the news. Here, it was everywhere before they even identified the bodies. It was a screen crawl on every channel that two dead were found at a house belonging to Reiner. They were that impactful. And the loss is huge.
One interesting thing that ties Anthony Geary and Rob Reiner together: They shared scenes on All in the Family. It was one of Geary's first roles and he worked alongside Rob "Meathead" Reiner. Both were 78 when they died.

I only watched AMC then, so I missed out on the experience. I didn't know about the Rob Reiner connection, that's cool. Those were the days, as they say.

the other day but my heart was too heavy.

Luke and Laura were everything back in the day and that was down to the fabulousness of Tony and Genie. I can remember the summer they were on the run and calling themselves Lloyd and Lucy. I was at sleepover camp and had missed so much but then right after camp ended my parents and I stayed at a cabin in Maine for a week and my stepfather was "not watching" with me and until the day he died he would randomly ask me about those two who were on the run!

The death or the Reiners is so tragic it is difficult to comprehend. Their contributions to the entertainment industry and the country will not be forgotten.

My heart goes out to all who knew them, loved them, loved their work...

watch and he isn't home. He likes the option of "not watching" here and there.

I am still in shock about the Reiners and the circumstances. I especially feel heartsick for their daughter who found them.
