Subject: We watched One Battle... over 2 days. It's so long!
In reply to: LAwoman 's message, "Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I saw" on 23:55:31 01/11/26 Sun

I read early on that this movie flopped at the box office because it didn't convey what it was really about, comedy or action or what. I had trouble keeping my attention on it, just felt boring after awhile. I want to see Marty Supreme next, maybe Bugonia but it looks weird.

Jesse Plemons and Emma Stone are so good in it. I prefer weird, so it worked for me. Big box office is good for the industry, but usually aren't my type of films. I'm going to break down and sign up for a month of Netflix to see Frankenstein, Train Dreams and Adolescence.

I loved Train Dreams and Adolescence but Frankenstein was disappointing. Too whiney. I'll see Begonia but I do wonder why Emma is making such weird films lately, tho I loved her in The Favorite.

that she is doing more complex work as she gets older. She certainly has the talent. The Pitt is great.
