Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I saw

a couple of movies, plus the award-winning mini series Adolescence. Adolescence was a tough watch, but very well done. It was also pretty depressing and disturbing. So then I watched the Oscar nominated film Train Dreams. Beautiful cinematography, but sad.
After all the sad, I thought I should try a palate cleanser and saw Blue Moon, set in the 1940s and starring Ethan Hawke in an Oscar-nominated performance as Lorenz Hart, the former lyricist partner of Richard Rodgers. The dialogue is fast and witty like an old 40s film and takes place in a bar on the opening night of the musical Oklahoma! Great dialogue and performances. it is very talky and also, sad.
Maybe I was just sad overall. It was a tough weekend. Stay strong, Minnesota.

pretty sad. It's about 2 strangers being able to re-live some painful times in their lives and figure out a new way to remember them so they can start living again. Strange but good.
Adolescence was very powerful and uncomfortable to get thru. We loved Train Dreams, but yeah, sad too. I do want to see Blue Moon.
Oh, and the stupid Rams lost. After our Bills and 49rs lost! I will NOT be attending the Super Bowl, so there.

It’s a true story about some cops that might… be tempted to take some cash from a crime scene. Or.not. It was cool.
