Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I saw

Hamnet. In a theater. I wish I had streamed it. It was a real tearjerker and I hate digging through my purse for tissues LOL! It was really good, but I am done with sad movies for awhile. Jessie Buckley was incredible though. I think I will see the Rose Byrne movie next and then try to find Sentimental Value. We still have Frankenstein on the list as well.

Melania, the documentary. I loved Hamnet too, and I'll see it again when it comes to Netflix. Hope you like Frankenstein more that I did.
Saw The Magic of Belle Isle, a 2012 film starring Morgan Freeman, loved it, tho it was kinda saccharine. He's just so good. Watched the Grammys last night, which was good, funny and had a couple of crazy presentations by Joni Mitchell and Cher.

recorded the Grammys while we were out and zipped through everything but the performances. I did catch a couple of the awards, like the one with Cher. I missed Joni! But I enjoyed the show. I liked the new artist nominees performing back to back.

If I Had Legs I'd Kick You. It's billed as a dark comedy, but mostly just uncomfortable. Byrne plays and overstressed mom with a daughter on a feeding tube because she won't eat. All kinds of bad things happen to Byrne's character, some in her mind, some real. Co=stars are A$AP Rocky, Conan O'Brien and Christian Slater. Byrne is the star and I can see why she was nominated, but man, that was crazy.
