I'm not so much into the Olympics, so I just watch a few things, women hockey, curling. No ice skating.
We saw Blue Moon, stars Ethan Hawke as Lorenze Hart, talking to different people at Sardi's restaurant during the premier of Oklahoma!, his former partner's new musical with Hammerstein. It's intense, sad and pretty annoying.
Also saw 4 letters of Love, a romance based in 1971 Ireland. Stars Pierce Brosnan, Gabriel Byrne and Helena Bonham Carter, dealing with their kids' love affair. This one was really good.

I've never read the book but I've seen 2 old movies based on it. I'm sure the new one will be much more dynamic.

I am afraid of being disappointed. Ethan Hawke was so good in Blue Moon, but it was sad. Four Letters looks interesting. As for the Olympics, I watch all of it except curling. I love the daredevil sports!

As a film, it's very artfully done, beautiful scenery and costumes. The characters are dreamy, soulful and passionate. Extraneous characters have been left out, and the ending is perfect, not like the old films at all. Margo and Jacob really act their hearts out, but this is a gothic romance, so expect high drama and sadness. It is faithful to the book, but it's a condensed version of it.
