Subject: Raven Update 7/21/13 - part 3

Here's part 3. Sorry for having to split it up like this:

If anyone has any suggestions for natural remedies not mentioned here, please let me know if you can. My bedroom is starting to look like a health food store....

Right now the fevers are low grade. I will keep you posted when I get the results back from the culture.

The Alkaline Diet is good for buying time—it is great for anyone actually and fairly easy to stick to. You might recall that Daniel and his companions (Old Testament) asked to be served what was essentially an alkaline diet. It allows a lot of vegetables, especially root crops (radishes, carrots, etc.) You are allowed very little pasta/bread, some grains are restricted, but rye and a few others are permitted in moderation. Dairy is allowed, but no more than 1/8 of the total and not eaten in the same meal as meat. The main idea is to increase you body’s pH so that the other vitamins and nutrients you take can work more effectively. Oddly, lemon and lime juice do this even though they are acids! The only thing that is always a no-no in any amount is alcohol from grain. The only sweetener that is not restricted is stevia. Some local honey is okay if you are fighting pollen allergies. Do a search for details.
