Raven-thank you for the info and God Bless You!!!!! I really hope you can stay strong-and you are VERY correct in that doctors can be wrong.Please keep fighting and don't ever give up. Your columns are always informative and thru them I am able to see a beautiful spirit. The soaps on ABC have been my escape too-I just can't believe that ABC would cancel them for this reality show garbage. ABC Daytime needed to put someone in charge of the soaps that LOVED and RESPECTED them and the audience. Instead they put someone who is both clueless and sadistic. Frons seems to get off on hurting the fans as much as possible. Why is anyone's guess. Let's stay as positive as possible and hope for the best for these classic shows. I also think we should start contacting sponsors again. I at least hope you are correct and that Disney will be held accountable for this public relations/ratings disaster that was so unnecessary. No more ABC after GH is gone, that's for sure. WE LOVE you Raven.

I have enjoyed One Life To Live for so long that the people feel like family to me.WHen I heard that they were bring cancelled I almost sat down and cried.It was like losing a good friend or family memebers.I hope ABC can find away to keep them on but I hold out no hope because when money talks the powers that be listen.I plan to never watch a show on ABC or anything Disney makes,there shows are so syrupy anyway.And as far as your health is concerned hang in there.I am praying for you.

I am fairly new to your column,although a good friend has been giving me scoops for a long time. When I finally started reading you, it was earlier this year when all hell broke loose. Then you got sick, which was even more devastating. Yet you are surviving and they say fighters are more likely to win over such a terrible disease, so I am praying that you do get better. I have been a fan of OLTL since it began and had my mother audio tape it when I was in HS since VCR's hadn't been invented yet. As a result, she got hooked too. The characters are like family and friends to us. Both of us have spent nights where we couldn't sleep and thought of what was going to happen. I watched OLTL in the hospital after I gave birth to my son, and when my husband almost died from Guillain Barre(an auto immune disease) OLTL got my through by enabling me to lose myself in others problems. My husband has since recovered, and I am praying that you, Raven, do too. Maybe just like in these soaps that we love, there will be a last minute reprieve, not a false hope. I hope to be reading your column for many more years, and still watching OLTL, and that AMC and GH will be on for those fans too.

Raven, you go ahead girl, get mad! I know you work so hard for your fans, even through your illness and the pain you've had to bear. I love to hear that you're alive and well, and if that's all we get from you from now on, then let's separate the wheat from the chaffe and get on with it! As for all of those naysayers, do you ever think that they are trolling, trying to shake you up? You are a very powerful voice. The only way any plan can work is if all who try to subvert it are silenced! I love the soaps, for sure, but I think I enjoy reading your column much, much more! Keep up the good work. xoxo
