I hope and pray that you safely return to your civilian occupation, and do well in it. I want to fill you in on the reason why I am interested in your civilian occupation. Recently, I have been diagnosed with meningioma. Meningioma is a noncancerous (benign) brain tumor that is located in the cells of the outor covering of the brain (meninges). My neurosurgeon examined my CAT scan and MRI scan and told me that since the tumor is near my skull it can be easily removed. Furthermore, he does not anticipate any complications. I am scheduled to have the surgery in three weeks. I am wondering whether you had any experience with patients at the brain injury center that had complications and/or permament brain damage from meningioma surgery. If so can you fill me on what the symptoms are. Also, if you have the email address of the brain injury center can you email me their email address?
