Date Posted: 06:41:41 03/14/06 Tue I am married to a disabled Vietnam Veteran (Navy). Our family has all been military (different branches). Just want to tell you I belong to a Mardi Gras Krewe in Navarre, Florida and your pictures just warms my heart. Our Krewe, Navarre Krewe of Jesters, is very involved in the community. We visit nursing homes (wearing our outfits), participate in 5+ parades a year, Relay for Life we take our float and throw beads to the walkers, march in the Christmas parade throwing beads so we know how much fun it is. Navarre Krewe of Jesters puts on the parade in Navarre, Florida and the money we raise from all our fund raisers is used to give scholarships to Navarre High School Seniors. If you want us to help provide some beads next year please let me know and I will pass on the word as it would be our honor to help. What did the locals think about you all or did they see it.
