hi
have seen you great web and material.
we are the Veterans Club of Solivita, a senior community
south of Kissimmee, Florida, and part of an active Veterans
Club composed with over 190 members.
a program entitled Support Our Troops has been initiated
since last November with the goal of sending mail to
military personnel serving in I & A.
have almost 3,000 names /units, mostly 101st Airborne Div.;
some folks here are adopting soldiers as "pen pals" plus
sending packages.
some units in the MEast are in turn adopting schools,
orphanages and clinics-besides soccer teams- and are asking
for school and art supplies.

would your unit like to participate? will not receive
junk mail or hate mail- just to show our gratitude and
support for your mission overseas, defending democracy
against the terrorists.

need as many names ( even one- the adjutant or mail officer- to serve as point or contact for the entire outfit. some schools may adopt entire units there.
pls reply by email to
f.valverde@cfl.rr.com
