There are a couple of Tarot Decks that have gotten very popular over the years. In once sense, the popularity might be based on the lack of variety until recent times. Tarot is enjoying a greatly renewed popularity now-a-days. So, there are a LOT of new Tarot Decks.
I've read cards for over 20+ years. I own many decks. My personal favorite though is The Church of Light Tarot Deck(also called: The Brotherhood of Light). Their headquarters is in Los Angeles, California. I believe the deck can be bought on Amazon.com however. And, they do have a website of their own.
The main thing about choosing a deck is to buy one, try it out and see how you like it. It's like when you buy a crystal of any kind, you have to hold it and see if it says "take me home, I want to be part of your life!"
Remember, like ALL things in life: What is right for someone else might not be right for you.
You have to search for what is appropriate for your particular path. That takes a willingness to explore and to be patient.
