Hey folks. Haven't posted in awhile.....but I wanted to pass along this video to you all. Tom Hampton has uploaded his performance of Forefathers from the Sellersville Tribute. Seems like so long ago now, but for those of you who were there, it'll take you back, and if you weren't there, it'll give you a little taste of the show. I think Tom did a beautiful job with this song. It was a highlight for me. Very cool of him to share it. Here's the link:

Kelly,

Thanks for sharing; great listening to Tom Hampton.

I wonder if there are any tributes planned for this August?

You're welcome, Diney. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm wondering if he'll upload any other clips from the show. The group finale of Gambler would be a good choice. I'd like to hear that one again.

Haven't heard of any more tributes planned, but if there is one, I think it would be great if Robert McEntee and Mike Hanna were a part of it. Playing with Dan for so many years, they surely knew him and his music well. It would also be cool if his old friends Elliott Delman and Jon Asher were included, since they've known him for such a long time. I'd love to hear their musical contributions and the stories they could tell.

About a week after Tom posted his video from the tribute concert, he and his wife had a new baby.....a little boy, and they named him......Daniel.

I just thought that was interesting.

Aw-w-w! Must be a C-section; his head is very nicely shaped. It's so sweet that they named him Daniel. Do you suppose he was named after anyone in particular?

Hmmmm....can't think of anyone in particular. Maybe they just liked the name?

A friend of mine named his son Daniel for that exact reason. The kid is in his 20's now.
