Wept today as I watched the video posted here of Dan playing The Reach. It was a flawless performance. Still when I listen, I weep.

Yeah, I agree, the video of The Reach is awesome. It captures his spirit so well....all the things we love about him. Very thankful we have it to watch. I still get teary-eyed at times too, but this one mostly makes me smile.

I hope you both had a very nice Christmas.

I think of how sad this time of year must make Jean as she can feel his loss so acutely then. At the awards ceremony, the pictures of her seemed far away and still sad. I think his loss would be very difficult to get over...
