Tour of Duty Gag Reel

Hi Dan,

I'm a Tour of Duty fan, having recently rediscovered the series through the DVD releases. I enjoyed the work you did on the show, really thought your McKay character added wonderfully to the series and played well off the rest of the cast.

There's been some talk over on the Tour of Duty Fans message board about a gag reel you and a few of the other cast members did. By chance, do you remember doing a scene based on the episode "I Wish It Would Rain," in which you come to Alex Devlin's apartment to get Lt. Goldman for a rescue operation in Cholon? There's footage of Goldman coming to the door wearing a bra.

If this rings a bell, can you tell us TOD fans a little bit about it? Whose idea was it? Did you guys do the scene as it was scripted, or did you make up totally bogus dialogue? Did you guys do it straight-faced? I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw screen captures of the footage. I mean, Stephen Caffrey was talking to you in a brassiere.

I hope you guys had at least as much fun filming this (the antics and the show) as we fans have had watching it.
