Date Posted: 05:30:39 12/31/05 Sat In reply to: Punk Rock's Dead 's message, "Red Blood Club" on 00:28:37 05/18/05 Wed Ok here is my opinion on what has been said. I'm old School and have been in the punk scene since 78',I saw the Nervebreakers when they open up for the Sex Pistols at the Longhorn Ballroom, but that is illrelavent. I think the kids that go and support the shows are amazing. It dosen't matter if the shop at the Gap, Hot Topic, or make ther own clothes what does matter is that they support a unified punk rock scene. I support these kids for going out to almost every show and supporting the RBC or any other show that might pop into town. I have lived in many different states as well and even ran a few clubs in my day in other states, but the punk rock, rockabilly, psychobilly, clownabilly scene is great in the Dallas, Tx. area. So quit slamming these kids for having options to go to a mall and buy clothes that were not accessable to us, becuase we had no stores in the 80's that sold merch like hot topic does , unless you were in NY and went to Trash and Vaudvilles. I just want to take the oppurtunity right now to thank all of the kids and people that support a unified scene at the RBC. It is not about the fashion it is about unity of a scene. That is my 15 second of fame, good night. Gabba Gabba Hey! Mouse Ramone [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
